Ayelet Zurer

Ayelet Zurer, one of Israel's most beloved actresses, is a special lady. Her birthplace is in Tel Aviv and was first noticed by Hollywood when Steven Spielberg cast her in her first English-speaking role as Eric Bana’s wife in Munich (2005). Since her arrival in the United States, Zurer has appeared in Studio films like Sony Pictures' Vantage Point with Dennis Quaid and William Hurt, Samuel Goldwyn's Fugitive Pieces opposite Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader's Adam Resurrected opposite Jeff Goldblum and Willem Dafoe. Ron Howard's Angeles and Demons is opposite Tom Hanks. Darling companion with Lawrence Kasdan with Diane Keaton and Kevin Kline as well as Warner Bros. Man Of Steel with Russell Crow. Russell Crow, is Ron Howard. Ewan McGregor was her filming partner in Rodrigo Garcia's The Last Days in Desert. She also waited patiently for The Last Knights to be released by Kazuaki Kriya Kazuaki Kriya, the Japanese director. For her role as Hostages as the lead actress she won the Gold Nymph Award at the 54th Festival of Television of Monte-Carlo. Ayelet was awarded the Israeli Film And Television Academy Award for her role as the lead in Nina's Tragedies. Ayelet also won nominations for her performance in the feature films Only Dogs Run Free, The Dybbuk from the Holy Apple Field, Desperado, and Rutenberg. Zurer was awarded the Haifa International Film Festival critic award and also received a star on Haifa’s "film boulevard" for her international and local achievements. Zurer was also honored with the Israeli Television Academy Award for her performance in "In Treatment", an internationally acclaimed TV series, which was adapted for American television by HBO. Zurer was also nominated for an apt performance in 2014's most popular drama "Shtisel", and she was named the most outstanding actress for drama for her performance as a brilliant surgeon who is facing a life-and-death dilemma in Hostages. The show was licensed to BBC4 & Canal Plus and the American ABC. Golbary the most well-known Israeli women's fashion company is her "face". She is a producer, a writer, an illustrator of two adult books, "Shorts" and the most popular "Badolina" by Gabi Nitazn. Ayelet is currently working on few of her own projects in Israel and the US she has expressed interest in working internationally with directors from across the globe she believes in joining with new writers/directors as well as known ones.
