Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actor from Canada. She starred as Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's series Majority Rules! From 2009 to 2010, she played Becky Richards on the Teletoon children's comedy show Majority Rules! She was then on the show as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson on the NBC post-apocalyptic sci-fi series Revolution from 2012-2014, for which she was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television. Annika Johnson played Annika on the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos appeared as Detective Hailey Upton on the TV drama of A&E, Bates Motel. playing the role of Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Greek-born parents, who were restaurant proprietors George and Anastasia Spiridakos She has two brothers. The family moved to Skala in Greece located south of Sparta within a short time after her birth. In 1992, they came back to Canada. She is strongly connected to her Greek roots and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school. She also trained at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated Oak Park High School. Spiridakos moved to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She was offered her first TV gig within a few weeks, a tiny part on Supernatural. The actress worked on television for several more years, landing parts in Psych, The L Word, Hellcats and Bionic Woman. Spiridakos was featured in the TV movie Goblin and also in the web-based series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also appeared on Being Human, as Brynn McLean was the werewolf. In 2009, the actress got her first lead role in Majority Rules! Canada, where she played 15-year-old Becky Richards. Her movie debut in 2011 by starring in Rise of the Planet of the Apes and also filmed the low-budget Michael Greenspan-helmed thriller, Kill for Me, featuring Donal Logue and Katie Cassidy. Spiridakos appeared as Sammi in the 2012 Nickelodeon original film, Rags. Then, she was offered a lead role on the NBC TV series Revolution as Charlotte "Charlie" Matheson, one of the survivors in the future of a dystopian society. She auditioned for the role at the time of her pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos shot the pilot in Atlanta and then filmed the first season in Wilmington, North Carolina. Her performance on the initial season of the series was nominated for an Saturn Award as Best Actress on television. But, she fell to the actress from Fringe, Anna Torv. The series' second season was recorded in Austin, Texas.
