Magda Apanowicz (pronounced NOH-vitch) is an Canadian actress. Her best-known work is her roles in the role of Andy Jensen on the ABC Family series Kyle XY, as Lacy Rand on the short-lived Syfy science fiction drama series Caprica and as Emily (born Maya Hartwell) on the science fiction series Continuum. Recently, she was featured as Sandy on the Netflix thriller series You. Apanowicz She is Polish American was in the ninth grade in Poland. She lived with her aunt in Poland, and was a student at Jelenia Gola school. In the following years, she attended Vancouver Film School. After her brother introduced her the Pulp Fiction, she became attracted to acting. Her acting career began in 2002 with brief appearances on the TV series Jeremiah and John Doe.From 2007 until 2009, she played the role as Andy Jensen on Kyle XY. In 2008, she was a part of the Hallmark Channel original movie Every Second Counts.In 2009, Apanowicz was cast as Lacy Rand, a series regular, on the TV drama Caprica along with Eric Stoltz and Alessandra Torresani. Then, she appeared on Hellcats. In 2012, she appeared as an actor in Jane Espenson’s second season, romantic comedy web series Husbands. In 2013, Apanowicz played Emily in the show Continuum. She also played Samantha in The Green Inferno horror film written by Eli Roth. The Green Inferno was originally shot in 2012. It was released internationally in 2015. Apanowicz was cast in Volition as Angela. It premiered on February 20 the 20th of February, 2020. Apanowicz was cast as Sandy in the second season of the Netflix thriller You.
