Emily Swallow

American actor Emily Swallow was born December 18th 1979. Her performances in The Mentalist as Kim Fischer and Supernatural as Amara/The Darkness are her most popular. She was also the Armorer in Star Wars' live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily played part in a minor role on The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born on the 18th of December 1979 in Washington, D.C. Her family lived in Sterling, Virginia, as in Jacksonville, Florida. She began acting in the Stanton College Preparatory School, Jacksonville in the year she was an undergraduate student. Swallow earned a Bachelor of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Virginia in 2001. She continued her studies for an MFA in Acting in New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Acting. She appeared in two international premieres: Donald Margulies' play The Country House, Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse; and Mark Rylance's play Nice Fish, at the Guthrie Theatre. (citation needed) She was the winner of the Falstaff Award in 2010 for the best female performer for the part of Kate in The Taming of the Shrew. In 2012, Swallow and Jac Huberman co-created a stage show called Jac N Swallow. It was performed at Joe's Pub as well as the Laurie Beeckman Theater in New York. The show revolves around the hilarious mishaps of Jac Huberman and Swallow who face a myriad of challenges in their lives with different degrees of difficulty.
