Elizabeth Leigh Vassey

American actress Elizabeth Leigh Vassey was born August 9 in 1972. She is famous for her performances in the roles of Emily Ann Sago, Captain Liberty and Captain Liberty in All My Children and in The Tick. Wendy Simms played in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in 2001. She also played Wendy Beaumont in Nikki & Nora in Nikki & Nora. Vassey was the teenager Emily Ann Sago on the soap series All My Children from 1988 until 1991. Vassey was a recurring actor on the show Tru Calling from 2004 to 2005 as the character Dr. Carrie Allen. In the episode "The Last Thing You Want is to end up with a Hump" in 2003, she was in "Twanging Your Magic Clanger" and "The Crazy Bitch Gazette" (2011), and in "Nice to Meet You, Walden Schmidt" (the season premiere featuring Ashton Kutcher).From 2005 until 2010 Vassey was a regular character as Wendy Simms on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Vassey was elevated from a regular cast member to the Wendy Simms character in the tenth season , and began appearing in the opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported on June 1st of 2010 that Vassey would not be returning in the series' eleventh season. She guested in one episode of the season.Vassey was a guest on Joss Whedon's musical on the web, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog with the name "Fury Leika". Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, together with her co-star Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company known as Neurosis to an T(ee) which makes and sells slogan-covered T-shirts for women. The slogans are often humorous and refer to female neuroses and worries.
