Alona Tal

Alona Tal, an Israeli American actress and singer, was born on the 20th of October 1983 in Herzliya. She started her career after she joined the Israeli Defense Forces. Her acting debut was in an Israeli film in 2003. At the time , she appeared in two TV series in Israel. She did some music as well and recorded a number of songs along with Israeli rapper Subliminal. Tal moved New York in New York with her sister. In the song "Party to Damascus", she collaborated in a collaboration with Wyclef Jean from Haiti. She also established herself in American television, beginning with a recurring part in the series Veronica Mars: She originally attempted to audition for the lead role but the show's the creator Rob Thomas wrote a new character specifically for her. Tal eventually was offered a regular position on the CBS series. Prior to shifting to New York, Tal starred in two Israeli TV series. Recorded a song with singer Wyclef Jean. Hebrew is her first language. Second in the competition for the role of Veronica Mars (2004). The auditions were initially unsuccessful, and she was Rob Thomas' second choice. Thomas was so in love with her that he created the regular character of Meg Manning just for her. She served in the Israel Defense Forces. Her parents are Jewish as is her father who is a Turkish/Jewish man and her mother is Polish/Jewish. Acts as Adrian Monk’s daughter in the last episode. Her father is Turkish/Jewish. Her mother is Polish/Jewish.
