Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28 1977. She is an American actress. Her roles include Renee Walker on the American television series 24. Motion capture and voice work were also performed for Tess in the videogame of NaughtyDog, The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in 1995. When she was a teenager she competed as an Irish dancer, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which was her final degree in 1999. Wersching began her acting career with guest appearances on the show Star Trek: Enterprise, before moving on to appearing as a guest on shows like Charmed, Killer Instinct, Supernatural as well as Cold Case. From March to November 2007, she was the regular character of Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap show General Hospital. Also, she has been in theaters like Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. She also appeared as a regular on the Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching was the catcher of the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching was the voice actor as well as the mo-cap of the character Tess. Geoff Keighley teased her character on Twitter before she was announced in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7 the 7th of December, 2012. Wersching was to play the character of the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
