Abbie Cornish Biography

Abbie Cornish is an Australian actor and rapper. At the age 13 she started modeling, before getting at 15 her first acting gig. After her modeling career, Cornish appeared in many films and television programs. Cornish is well-known for her performances as the courtier Bess Throckmorton in the historical film 'Elizabeth: the Golden Age'. She also played as the heroin addict who plays the lead in "Candy," Lindy in the sci-fi thriller 'Limitless' and Fanny Brawne in the biopic "Bright Star". On TV, she is well-known for her role in 'Outriders' and in 'Marking Time'. As a rapper and singer, Cornish has been performing since 2000 under the stage name "MC Dusk". Her birthplace was New South Wales. She was raised by three of her siblings, and had a pleasant childhood. When she reached 16 and her parents divorced, she was devastated. Abbie is an incredibly strong woman who was able to overcome the difficult divorce of her parents. The Australian beauty enjoys playing guitar and piano, however, she is a fan of acting more than anything other things. Cornish is a strict vegan, supports animal rights. She has occasionally contributed to animal rights organizations. Abbie Cornish was birthed in Lochinvar (New South Wales), Australia on 7 August 1982. She is the daughter of Barry Cornish and Shelley Cornish. Isabelle Corish, her older sister is also an actress. In terms of the love life of the actress she was engaged to actor Ryan Phillippe who she dated between 2006 and 2010.
